This gear pump is a commonly used fixed displacement gear pump in the hydraulic system of excavators. Its nominal displacement is suitable for the needs of medium and small-sized excavators, ranging from 20 to 25ml/r, and can stably meet the flow supply requirements of the main circuit or pilot circuit. Its rated working pressure can reach 25MPa, and the short-term peak pressure it can withstand can reach 32MPa, which can cope with the frequent load impact conditions in excavation operations.
The rated speed is 2200r/min, and the maximum speed does not exceed 2500r/min. Within this speed range, the stability of the flow output can be maintained. The volumetric efficiency is no less than 90% under rated working conditions, and the total efficiency is no less than 82%, which can effectively reduce energy loss. This gear pump follows the core working principle of positive displacement hydraulic pumps. Inside, it consists of a pair of intermeshing driving gears and driven gears, combined with the pump body, end cover and sealing components to form a closed working chamber. When in operation, the driving gear is connected to the power output shaft of the excavator. After starting, it drives the driven gear to rotate synchronously in the opposite direction.

Vii. Precautions for Use
Standard installation: During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the coaxiality error between the pump shaft and the power output shaft does not exceed 0.05mm to prevent eccentricity from causing excessive wear of the bearings and abnormal gear meshing. The flange connection bolts should be evenly tightened to avoid oil leakage caused by loose fit of the installation surface. The diameter of the suction pipe should match the inlet diameter of the pump, and the length of the pipeline should be shortened as much as possible to reduce the suction resistance and avoid cavitation.
Strictly control the oil condition: Before the first installation, the hydraulic oil tank and pipelines must be thoroughly cleaned to remove impurities such as welding slag and iron filings. The cleanliness of the hydraulic oil must comply with relevant standards. Regularly check the oil on a daily basis. If emulsification or deterioration occurs, it should be replaced immediately. At the same time, avoid the oil temperature exceeding the suitable range. If the oil temperature is too high, it will accelerate the aging of the sealing parts; if it is too low, it will affect the fluidity of the oil. The oil temperature can be regulated through the system cooling device.
Standardized operation: When starting the excavator, it is necessary to idle to preheat the hydraulic system, gradually increase the system pressure, and avoid damaging the internal structure of the pump body due to sudden high-pressure impact. During operation, avoid keeping the pump in peak pressure condition for a long time to reduce overload operation time. If abnormal heating of the pump body or sudden increase in noise occurs during operation, the machine must be stopped immediately for inspection. Do not force operation.
Regular maintenance and care: The surface of the pump body should be cleaned regularly on a daily basis to prevent the accumulation of dust and oil stains, which may affect heat dissipation. Check the gear meshing clearance and bearing wear every 2000 hours of operation. A comprehensive disassembly and maintenance should be carried out every 5,000 hours. Replace vulnerable parts such as seals. When reassembling, apply an appropriate amount of hydraulic oil to the moving parts to ensure smooth operation after assembly. When the pump is shut down for long-term storage, the hydraulic oil in the pump cavity should be drained to prevent the components from being corroded.
