This gear pump is an external meshing gear pump, composed of intermeshing gears, a pump casing, front and rear end covers, etc. When the driving gear is driven to rotate by the motor, it drives the driven gear to rotate in the opposite direction. In the oil suction chamber, the gear teeth gradually disengage from meshing, and the volume between the teeth gradually increases, creating a local vacuum. Under the action of atmospheric pressure, the liquid enters the pump from the oil suction port. As the gears rotate, the liquid is carried by the gear teeth to the oil discharge chamber. In the oil discharge chamber, the gear teeth gradually engage, and the volume between the teeth gradually decreases. The liquid is squeezed and discharged from the oil discharge port, thus achieving continuous liquid transportation.

7. Precautions for Use
Before starting: The pump chamber and the suction pipeline must be filled with the conveyed medium. Open the exhaust valve to release the air. Dry operation is strictly prohibited. Check the concentricity of the coupling between the pump and the motor to ensure good sealing of the suction pipeline and that the suction height meets the design requirements.
During operation: The cleanliness of the medium must be strictly controlled. A 100-200 mesh suction filter can be installed and the filter residue should be cleaned regularly. Monitor the temperature, pressure and sound of the pump in real time. The temperature of the casing should not exceed 70℃, the temperature of the bearing should not exceed 80℃, and the outlet pressure should not exceed the rated value. If any abnormal sound occurs, stop the machine in time for inspection.
Shutdown and maintenance: When shutting down, the outlet valve should be closed first, and then the motor power supply should be cut off to prevent the medium from flowing back and impacting the gears. When the pump is shut down for a long time, the medium in the pump cavity should be drained. Regularly check the sealing performance of the shaft seal. If leakage is found, the sealing ring should be replaced in time.
