Product Description
LIC Hydraulic proudly offers the Eaton Vickers PVH Series, a high-performance variable displacement axial piston pump designed for the most rigorous industrial and mobile applications. Engineered for durability, the PVH series handles continuous pressures up to $280\text{ bar}$ ($4000\text{ PSI}$) with ease. The featured model PVH57QIC-RF-1S-10-C25-31 incorporates the specialized QIC (Quiet Industrial Control) technology, providing an exceptionally smooth and silent hydraulic power source. Whether you are upgrading a machine tool or a heavy-duty press, the PVH series delivers unmatched power density and response accuracy.
Technical Specifications (Quick Reference)
Displacements: $57, 74, 98, 131\text{ cc/rev}$.
Max Pressure: Continuous up to $250\text{ bar}$, intermittent up to $320\text{ bar}$.
Design: Swashplate axial piston with pressure/flow compensation.
Sound Level: QIC versions are optimized for ultra-low noise emissions.
Mounting: SAE Standard flanges and shafts.
Key Technical Advantages
Ultra-Quiet QIC Design: The patented timing and porting geometry minimizes pressure pulsations, making it one of the quietest piston pumps available for indoor factory environments.
High Response Compensators: Featuring a heavy-duty control piston, the PVH series offers rapid on-stroke and off-stroke times, ensuring stable system pressure even during sudden valve shifts.
Rugged Service Life: Built with a “cradle-type” swashplate bearing, this design offers better load distribution and resistance to cavitation than traditional designs.
Energy Efficiency: By utilizing pressure and flow compensation (Load Sensing), the pump only delivers the energy required by the load, significantly reducing heat buildup and electricity costs.
Application Areas
Plastic Injection Molding: Precision control for clamping and injection stages.
Metal Forming & Stamping: High-pressure power for hydraulic brakes and shears.
Material Handling: Primary hydraulic source for lift trucks and aerial platforms.
Mobile Equipment: Auxiliary power for pavers, rollers, and cranes.
Expert Maintenance Tips
Bleed Air Before Load: After installation, run the motor in short bursts to bleed air from the swashplate area. Trapped air can cause “clatter” and erratic pressure compensation.
Check Case Drain Backpressure: Ensure the case drain line is oversized and free of obstructions. High case pressure is the #1 cause of shaft seal leaks in the PVH98 and PVH57 models.
Oil Viscosity: Maintain oil viscosity within the $13\text{–}54\text{ cSt}$ range for optimal lubrication. Operating with overly thin oil at high pressures will lead to premature “scoring” of the valve plate.
